The Brother Rice Basketball Shooting Clinic will be held on Sunday, October 14, 5:00 P.M. to 6:45 P.M. for 7th graders (doors open at 4:30 P.M.), and from 7:30 P.M. to 9:15 P.M. for 8th graders. This clinic is free of charge and is open to all 7th and 8th grade boys.
Directed by Brother Rice head basketball coach Pat Richardson, instructors including the Crusader coaching staff, alumni players, and current Crusader players will teach grade school players the proper mechanics of the jump shot as well as a number of drills to improve their shooting.
Each participant will receive a packet containing a shooting chart, shooters checklist, common faults of the jump shot, off season workout program, season pass to all Crusader home games, a t-shirt, and pizza and pop after the clinic. Please bring basketball clothing: shorts, t-shirt socks and shoes. Basketballs will be provided.
