The Brother Rice rugby team was pleased to present a donation check to Hope Children’s Hospital to help in their efforts to fight childhood cancer.
The team hosted its annual “Hope Game” against rival Mt. Carmel on April 25, coming away with a 27-10 victory. Children from Hope acted as honorary captains by taking the teams onto the field, doing the coin toss, and acting as ball boy/girls. The event raised $3,478 for Hope Children’s Hospital and an additional $400 for the Keyser Foundation.
