This year, Brother Rice H.S. initiated a new program- Big BRO/ Little BRO. The primary purpose of this program is for senior members of the Blessed Edmund Rice Peer Ministry Program and junior and senior members of the National Honor Society (Big BROS) to mentor our freshman class members (Little BROS) for the entire year and to serve as a model of Blessed Edmund Rice for them. Activities starting with Freshman Orientation and lasting throughout the year will occur to provide further interaction between these groups including sharing lunch on occasion, attending each others’ activities, and praying and worshipping together amongst others. This year in fact, the Big BROS came to school before faculty meetings began to train and prepare the calendar of activities for this new program!
