Blessed Edmund Rice provided outreach and service to the people of Ireland throughout his life. Following his example and in his spirit, all Brother Rice students are required to complete BROS hours as a portion of their semester grade in Theology class. Students can engage in a wide variety of BROS activities. Brother Rice itself sponsors a number of these activities throughout the year
