For over fifteen years, veteran Brother Rice faculty member Brother Thomas Collins, CFC takes groups of students twice a week after school to the shelter to deliver food, clothing, and toys, to tutor the residents in preparation for their GED (alternate high school diploma program) exam, and to work with the children of the residents. Brother Rice provides transportation to and from the shelter.
