The Brother Rice/Mother McAuley band will host a car wash on Sunday, August 26, from noon until 3:00 P.M. in the 100th and Pulaski Road (main office) parking lot. Any car, SUV, or van can be washed for the same low price. Tickets are $5 and are available from band members, who have been asked to sell 20 tickets each to the event. Tickets will also be available any time after Monday, July 30, in the main office of the school or during the “Back to School” parent night on Thursday, August 23.
The proceeds will go to further the renovations already made to the band room this summer, to supplement the upkeep of our present instruments, and for the purchase of new ones. Also, know that all are more than welcome to visit our new band room and find out about the new and exciting things going on with the band; you don’t have to be a former band member to be interested!
