On Saturday, October 20, the cross country team competed in the IHSA Regional at Midlothian Meadows.
The Crusaders finished 3rd. Medalist James Durkin’s 2nd place finish led the way for the Crusaders. Also having strong races were Anthony Maciag, who placed 6th, and Pat Maguire, who fought off an illness to run a gutsy race and finish 11th. Tim O’Connor set a PR for the second straight week to place 27th.
The Crusaders will compete in next week’s Sectional at the same location for the right to advance to the state finals.
