Crusader Basketball Announces Upcoming Shooting and Coaching Clinics

The Brother Rice Basketball Shooting Clinic will be held on Sunday, October 23, starting at 6:00 P.M.  This clinic is free of charge and is open to all 7th and 8th grade boys.  Directed by Brother Rice head basketball coach Pat Richardson, instructors including the Crusader coaching staff, alumni players, and current varsity players will teach grade school players the proper mechanics of the jump shot as well as a number of drills to improve their shooting.  Participants will receive a season pass to all Crusader home basketball games. Pizza and pop will follow the clinic.

The Brother Rice Basketball Coaches Clinic will be held on Wednesday, October 26.  Doors open at 6:15 P.M. for registration with a 7:00 P.M. start.  This clinic is open to all grade school and junior high coaches.  Speakers will include Pat Richardson, head basketball coach at Brother Rice High School; Pat Sullivan, former head basketball coach at University of St. Francis and current motivational speaker; and Marty Gaughan, former head basketball boach at Benet Academy and current individual instructor.  The cost for the clinic is $10 and includes clinic notebook, coach’s packet, season pass, door prizes, and post clinic reception.
