Katlyn Bermele, cousin of Brother Rice grad Mark Bermele ’09 and a junior at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, plans to participate in a fundraiser called “Dance Marathon” on February 1 and 2. She will be dancing for 24 hours straight to help raise money and awareness of cancer.
