New football head coach Brian Badke `92 saw a successful week with his first event back at Brother Rice. More than 150 grammar school boys came out for a week of camp, which featured NFL offensive lineman Eric Steinbach. Current and former Crusader players also joined Coach Badke in working on fundamentals and other football activities.
There were two winning teams throughout the week, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Bears team, coach by Matt Lydon ’08, and 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Michigan team which was coached by offensive coordinator Bill McKeon.
