Math Team Places at Marian Competition

The Crusader math team took part in a math completion at Marian Catholic last  Saturday.  Approximately 450 students representing 12 schools took part in this event, including 15 students representing Brother Rice. The Crusaders presented some impressive results for the day, which include the following:

1^st Place – Freshman/Sophomore Relay team – Mike Hollander (St. Cajetan), Spencer Scott (St. Germaine), Leo Serna (Our Lady of the Ridge), and Tab Torres (St. Gerald)
2^nd Place – Algebra 1 – Spencer Scott
4^th Place – Algebra 1 – Mike Hollander
4^th Place – Precalculus -  Steven Buschbach (St. Germaine)
5^th Place – Junior/Senior 2 person – Steven Buschbach and Tom Nye (Christ the King)
6^th Place – Oral – Steven Buschbach, Kevin Kozek (St. John Fisher)

The next math competition is Saturday, January 28, at Nazareth Academy.
