This week the Southtown shines the spotlight on cross country runner Pat Maguire, of Brother Rice. Maguire was runner-up in the Oct. 13 Catholic League meet at Turtlehead Lake in an impressive 15 minutes, 14 seconds, his personal best at the time and one of the state’s top performances. Brother Rice finished third in the nine-team meet.
