Brother Rice High School will host our sixth annual St. Baldrick’s Day event on Tuesday, March 13, from 7:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the North Gym. Our Brother Rice family and friends are invited to join us as we “Crusade for a Cure” for childhood cancer.
Over the past five years, the Brother Rice family and friends have already raised $264,000 for St. Baldrick’s Day; that’s over a QUARTER-MILLION DOLLARS!!. We’d like to break the $300,000 mark this year; if you would like to help us reach this goal, please follow the directions below to register as a shavee:
1. Go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website to register at stbaldricks.org
2. Click on the blue “Participate at this Event” link.
3. Click “yes” on the Private Event Participation prompt.
4. Log-in (past participants should use their log-in info from last year; new participants will need to create a profile) **Make sure to click all applicable areas to complete the registration procedure.
5. Once you have registered on-line, you will need to complete and submit a signed paper participant agreement. **Please note that we must have a participant agreement on file to shave a head. Brother Rice students can pick up green participant agreements at the Student Activities office, or you can download and print one at this link.
