2nd Annual Brother Rice STEM Competition
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) based curriculum empowers students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and build communication skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving future.
Brother Rice High School invites current 7th grade boys to compete in our annual STEM competition, a great opportunity for prospective students to explore academic life on 99th & Pulaski. The event will be held on Thursday, April 30th beginning at 5:30pm until 8 pm in the main (south) gym. The event is free to enter and spectators are welcome.
Students are asked to gather teams of 4 (minimum of 3) to participate in team-oriented competitions that involve using basic engineering, math, science, and technology skills. There will also be opportunities for teams to compete in additional competitions to earn extra points. Your team will be ranked based on performances in each individual competition and will earn points accordingly.
This competition will challenge students to explore cutting-edge ideas and develop practical solutions to real world problems. It is a great opportunity for your students to showcase their intelligence and creativity while building on their teamwork and communication skills.
Rules:
All team members MUST be from the same grammar school
Limited to first 25 teams
ALL team members must register using the google form provided on the flyer (QR code)
This competition is open only to current 7th grade boys
