Last week, our school hosted a dress-down day to help support the Navarro-Bustos Family in Lima, Peru. Our goal was to raise $2,600 to help them build a brand new home. Overall, we have raised over $3,900 and will be able to provide a new home for the Navarro-Bustos family very soon!

Along with the efforts made in raising money, students will also have the opportunity to be apart of a Peru Virtual Immersion. During our Virtual Immersion, our Crusaders will see first hand the reality of poverty in Lima, especially among the people and families that the Brothers work with daily.  By doing this Virtual Immersion, we want to encourage our young Crusaders to identify with those marginalized by poverty and injustice (the Third Essential Element of an Edmund Rice Christian Brothers Education) and see how their small sacrifice this week adds dignity to the Navarro Bustos family.
