Registration opens November 22, 2019.
Be a Crusader. Be Exceptional.
Welcome to Brother Rice
We look forward to seeing you at any number of our admissions events!
We encourage all students to experience Brother Rice through a Shadow Day. Grade school students are welcome to shadow any day that Brother Rice is in session and are encouraged to sign up online. Contact a member of our admissions team with any questions.
On Sunday, October 20, Brother Rice High School will host its first Open House of the season from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This Open House offers an opportunity to tour the campus, speak with members of the Brother Rice community, explore the many different extracurricular activities and more!
While attending Open House, families will experience the largest all-boys school in Chicago and what it truly means to be a Crusader. Teachers from various programs such as broadcasting and journalism, computer science, engineering, business and more will be available to talk about their courses and opportunities for students. Student-athletes and coaches from eighteen sports teams will be available for those who are interested, as well as club moderators and student participants from over thirty activities. Whether it’s building engineering projects, broadcasting a game with Brother Rice TV or playing a varsity sport, there is something for everyone at Brother Rice High School. Find out what it means to “Be Exceptional!” Each family is lead on a personal tour by a National Honor Society student or Brother Rice ambassador. Parents and students will have the opportunity to engage with administrators, counselors and alumni to learn more about the Brother Rice experience.
Families are welcome to attend the second Open House on Sunday, November 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or the Last Look Open House on Wednesday, December 4, at 7 p.m. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to shadow on any day Brother Rice is in session. Popular Shadow Days include Homecoming on Friday, October 11, and Columbus Day on Monday October 14.
