Last Thursday, the frosh/soph track team competed at Evergreen Park. The Crusaders finished second as a team. Event champions were Eddie Burke in both the 3200 and 1600 and Nehemiah Ray in the 200. Second place performances came from Julius Lujano in the shot put & Louie Conn in the discus.
On Friday the varsity team traveled to Sandburg to take part in the Pete Struck Classic. The team placed 10th in the 20-team field. Top performances came from the 4×400 team of Justin Palmer, Tommy Gleeson, Ronan Dolan & Nehemiah Ray, Palmer in the 300 hurdles and Dan Spellman in the 3200. This Thursday the frosh/soph team will compete in the Catholic League Championship at Concordia University, while the varsity will travel to Thornton on Saturday.
