On Saturday, February 2, the Track & Field team opened up the 2019 season at Evanston. The top performer of the day was Dan Spellman who was a 2-time winner, capturing titles in both the 2 mile and mile. Other varsity champions included Chase Hall in the 300 meters, and the 4×400 team of Justin Palmer, Charlie Fitzgerald, Harrison Morg, & Mikey Corcoran. Second place efforts came from Ronan Dolan in the triple jump and the 4×200 team of Palmer, Giacomo Iraci, Dolan, and Hall. Dwayne Moorehead was the lone victor at the Frosh/Soph level winning the 55m. KJ Love had a pair of second place finishes in the high jump and as part of the 4×200 team with Moorehead, Kyle Clayton and Adrian Campos. This Saturday the Crusaders will compete against the #1 ranked team in the state at Homewood Flossmoor.
