34th Annual All-Alumni Dinner

In order to express our sacred appreciation, the 34th Annual All-Alumni Dinner began in the school chapel with the Alumni Association honoring Men of the Year and Alumni Hall of Fame honorees Don Liebentritt ’68, Pat Folliard ’73, and John Singler ’78.  Jim Casey ’70, who conducted the honors ceremony, began by expressing regret and a call for prayers for Tom Mitchell ’63, who is recovering from serious illness and could not be with us.  For more on why these great alumni were honored, click here.

Congratulations to our Crusaders of the Month for November 2018!

Brother Rice honors one student from each class as Crusader of the Month. To be considered for Crusader of the Month, students must be nominated by a teacher, coach or administrator. In order to qualify, students must show leadership, be in good standing and be involved in activities within Brother Rice High School.

Our Crusaders for the Month of November are Frankie Mesec ’20, Matteo Valencia ’19, Eddie Burke ’21 and Jack Lausch ’22.

Mass for Freshmen and Women

First year students from Brother Rice High School and Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School gathered for their annual mass and reception.  Fr. Mark presided and was assisted by peer ministers from Brother Rice.  After mass students enjoyed donuts, milk and fellowship in the North Gym.

Humble and Thankful Servants

I think I act humbly but I could try to be even more humble and to be more thankful for what I have. I could do this by always remembering manners and always saying please and thank you. Things like this would also make me a more likeable and better person. Using these I think it will bring me closer to God.
