Be a Crusader. Be Exceptional

To be a Crusader means to be Exceptional, in the classroom and community. Applications to the Class of 2030 for the 2025 Be Exceptional Leadership Award are NOW CLOSED. We look forward to re-opening the award for the Class of 2031.

Please complete the following steps to apply:

  1. Submit your application via this link
  2. Send this link to a representative of your current school.
  3. Have a member of your community write a letter of recommendation that highlights your individual talents to BeExceptional@brrice.org
  4. Submit an essay to BeExceptional@brrice.org – Describe a time in your life when you faced adversity and how you overcame it.
  5. Upon completion, you will be contacted for an interview at Brother Rice.

To be considered:

  1. Application Elements must be received by Monday October 27th, 2025.
  2. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 (or grammar school equivalent).
  3. Student must be involved with extracurricular activities in their community.
