We Remember the life of Shaun Jacob ’93
To honor his memory, Shaun’s wish was to continue the Brother Rice Crusader Alumni Athletic Club (CAAC) so the CAAC would have the funds and means to go on supporting all the athletes for years to come. Donations in memory of Shaun Patrick Jacob can be made payable to Br. Rice CAAC (S.P.J.), or made online by clicking the button below.
About Shaun Jacob ’93 – Founder of CAAC
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Shaun Jacob ’93. Age 44; Beloved son of Robert ’67 and Mary Lou Jacob; Cherished brother of Mia Catherine and Amy Colleen Jacob; Loving nephew, cousin, godfather, mentor and friend to many…too many to mention. Shaun was a hard worker, a great leader, and an amazing teammate on the court and in life. He took his last “Putt” with dignity and honor. His lifelong mission was to help others and he gave selflessly. His crusade in life was to forever keep the Brother Rice High School alumni community together. He will continue to mentor and guide from heaven above.
Shaun was named a 2019 Alumni Man of the Year and inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame on Friday, November 8, 2019. Shaun’s dedication to the students and school community will never be forgotten. His passion for Br. Rice was second to none and his legacy will remain. Please keep Shaun and his family in your prayers. Thank you for your exceptional work, Shaun. We will miss you, but we know you will be watching over all of us and your impact will live on in all the lives you have touched.
About the CAAC
The Crusader Alumni Athletic Club was founded by former Brother Rice athletes for two main reasons: to unite athletic alumni of all generations and to establish the strongest athletic alumni network in the country. When you are an athlete at Brother Rice, you are not just a Brother Rice athlete for those four years – you are a Brother Rice athlete for life! If you represent yourself well as a student athlete while attending Brother Rice, you will have access to a network of thousands of fellow athletic alums with backgrounds from every profession imaginable that will do anything they can to help you out. We are an athletic family that takes care of its own. We also want to make sure that Brother Rice athletic programs have the strongest financial support that will allow them to have state of the art facilities and equipment to maximize students athletic experience at Brother Rice.
To become a member of the Crusader Alumni Athletic Club please contact Tim O’Connell. We will send regular communication about Crusader Alumni Athletic Club events.
