Our Brother Rice Faculty member of the month for December 2018 is none other than lifelong Crusader, Mr. Mark Klutcharch! “Klutch,” as he is affectionately known in the Brother Rice community, has gone above and beyond his regular duties these past few months, juggling numerous responsibilities on top of his teaching theology classes: He just wrapped up his coaching duties during an historic football season and jumped immediately into coaching Freshman basketball. Klutch also has filled in as interim Dean of Students as Doc Mathius recovers from his motorcycle accident injury. Walk around the campus for a few minutes and you’re sure to run into Klutch… or he may run into you.
Mr. Klutcharch is a 1982 Brother Rice graduate, and the Klutcharch name is woven into the fabric of Brother Rice. In high school, he played football and was captain of the 1981 State Championship team. He has taught math and theology, and he has coached hundreds of young Crusaders on the gridiron and on the courts over the past 28 years. Deservingly, Klutch is a member of the Brother Rice Hall of Fame and a member of the Brother Rice Circle of Champions.
Congratulations–and THANK YOU–to a true Crusader, our December Faculty Member of the Month: Mr. Mark Klutcharch!
