On March 1, Brother Rice will be participating with Mother McAuley in the Chicago Polar Plunge at North Avenue Beach. In order for a student to participate, they must register at Chicagopolarplunge.org and raise $100 for Special Olympics.
Participants will meet at school around 10:00 a.m. on March 1, and will be “making a splash” at 11:00 a.m. at North Avenue Beach. Transportation to and from the event will be provided. Last year President Mark Donahue, Principal Bob Alberts, and Director of Admissions Matt Prunckle had a blast participating with our students. It is a unique event for such a great cause and our students loved it!
