Welcome from Mr. Mark Donahue
Greetings Parents, Students, Alumni, and Friends:
Welcome to Brother Rice High School! Let me extend a welcome to all as you experience our newly developed website. We’ve made it our goal to provide you with the latest information about school happenings, including academic, athletic, service, and social events that you and your family would enjoy.
We are a vibrant, successful Catholic high school providing young men the opportunity to excel in all aspects of their lives, spiritually, academically and athletically. We stand on the foundation laid by Blessed Edmund Rice who, nearly two centuries ago, successfully transformed the lives of hundreds of young men. Today, the schools of the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers serve students across North America and the world.
Exceptionalism is our theme, which you will experience in all aspects of our community — from our students, parents and families to our alumni. We are committed to preparing young men for college and adulthood by guiding them to develop a strong moral compass on their journey in order to help them deal wisely in today’s world.
Please take some time to look around our website. Feel free to contact us regarding any questions or comments you may have.
Be a Crusader. Be Exceptional.
Sincerely,
Mark Donahue ‘74

The Mission of Brother Rice High School
We, the family of Brother Rice High School, are a diverse, Catholic Christian community, committed to preparing young men for college and for the process of lifelong learning. We educate young men to act manfully in Christ Jesus and to deal wisely with their world in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and the charism of Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice.
