Robotics Sponsorship
The Brother Rice Robotics Team is going to the MATE World Championship! Each year the team competes in the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Underwater ROV Competition. The team worked hard all year to design, build and test their robot. The team’s hard work and dedication paid off as Brother Rice took first place in the Midwest Regional on May 13. This qualified the team to compete in the World Championship in Longmont, Colorado, June 22-24, against the best teams from the US and around the world! Each team member is currently paying 100% of the trip expenses. Transportation, lodging and meals for the team are significant expense and the team is looking for individuals or corporations who would be willing to help offset this cost for team members. Please consider making a donation directly to the BR Robotics Team to help lower the cost for all team members.
