My experience at Rice has been more than I could have ever expected coming into the school freshman year. A lot of great things happened throughout my four years that exceeded all of my expectations.

Freshman year was really great and welcoming for me. A great experience I had that year was going down to the University of Illinois to watch the football team compete for a state championship title.

I also made lifelong friends within my first few months at Rice.

A class I really enjoyed was Coach Vogt’s broadcast/journalism class. It really helped me learn the basics of a […]

The annual Mother/Son Dance took place again this year at Brother Rice High School. After the dance was canceled last year, a lot of mothers were highly anticipating the festivities.

The cafeteria was decorated with streamers and balloons. They were purple, pink, and red to represent the feminine theme of the night.

Rice outscored the Cadets in all quarters except the third. Point guard Ahmad Henderson led the crusade with 23 points. Juniors Ryan Kenney and Peter McShane contributed with a combined 22 points.

The Crusaders executed greatly on Friday, playing great defense throughout the game. They held Marmion to just 12 points in […]

The 2021 Brother Rice Homecoming Dance was a great success. A lot of students attended and enjoyed the Mardi Gras themed night. Even though students had to wear masks the whole time, people had fun.

In the cafeteria there was a DJ and a dance floor. This was weird since the dance is usually in the main gym. There was an outdoor area for eating and sitting. Sandwiches were handed out as well as cookies and water bottles.

The theme of the night was Mardi Gras. Beads were hanging on students’ necks and there were streamers and balloons as decorations.

Everyone […]
