The Mother Son Dance is always something to look forward to with all the music, food, and dancing.

The dance was also a good event for the kids to get out and socialize with friends outside of the classroom.

Senior Michael Moonan said, “I thought the dance was definitely worth the price of admission and being able to dance with my friends. Going to my last mother son dance with my mom was amazing.”

The dance this year was held on Feb. 2, and began around 6:30 p.m. It was hosted by Ridge Country Club as they provided us with food and music.

Senior Ryan Hartz said, “I always enjoy going to the school events, and this was no different. Love being able to see my classmates as well as spend some quality time with my mom.”

Everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves with lots of dancing and conversations. At certain points in the night, kids would all circle up and have little dance battles with the crowd cheering and yelling. Most of the time kids would just be around the D.J dancing and having a good time.

Mrs. Alverez said, “I was very pleased with how the boys looked and acted and enjoyed saying the prayers.”

Everyone seemed to have had a great time, and most people stayed until they were asked to leave around 9:30 p.m.
