Last Friday, the sophomores at Brother Rice completed their annual sophomore retreat. This is always a great opportunity for sophomores to connect with one another and strengthen their faith.
Senior Brendan McCarthy said, “It’s great that they do this retreat every year. It can be a real eye opener for some sophomores.”
The students on the retreat spent the day partaking in various activities meant to strengthen their bonds with one another.
Senior Bill Reardon said, “This retreat is a great chance for the students to get to know each other better and create bonds with different people.”
The retreat was facilitated by the senior peer ministers. This is a great opportunity for them as well to get more involved in the lives of younger students.
Senior peer minister Ben McMurray said, “I thought the retreat was a big success. I remember doing this retreat when I was younger, and it’s something you don’t forget.”
I think the retreat is something that should continue for years to come. It is a great tradition and an opportunity that most sophomores take for granted.
