As the NFL season is winding down, one thing is for sure. The Chicago Bears will go yet another season below 500 while not making the playoffs.

Senior Ryan Hartz said, “It’s really frustrating turning the Bears game on and just watching loss after loss. It really is demoralizing to watch.”

The Bears are currently going into week 12 with a record of 4-8, and are arguably the worst team in the NFL. The Bears were the worst team in the NFL finishing the 2022-2023 season.

Senior Tyler Wojcik said, “It’s not even worth watching the games anymore. It’s just sad.”

The Bears’ next steps should be to rest up their starters till the 2023-2024 season and try to go for the first pick in the 2023 draft.

Senior Christian Potoczny said, “After watching the Bears for so long it’s what I expect now – for them to be a below average football team. That is really sad for the city, because Chicago deserves better.”

Some might say the Bears are improving from last year’s record of 3-14, but If they really want a chance at competing for the Super Bowl, it’s going to require a lot of work, like starting with new owners.

Hopefully in the future, the Bears can find a way to turn it around so we don’t have to witness this sad era anymore.
