People thought that the Brother Rice hockey team was not going to be great this year. Those people are certainly wrong.

Jake Ryan scored 1, Blake Mayer scored 2, and Jack Keaton had a hat trick.
Senior defenseman Liam Bailey-Stobbs said, “We played a pretty good game against our rival Marist. It felt great to beat them on Senior Night.”
The skating men of Edmund had a successful game and successful season finishing at 10-7-1. They will be looking forward to a great postseason run for the Kennedy Cup.
Senior right winger Sean Curtin said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to play for the Kennedy Cup, it shows what Brother Rice hockey truly means.”
Their first playoff game will be played on Thursday, Feb. 3, at Fifth Third Arena against the Saint Ignatius Wolfpack. Goalie Matt Cunningham said, “I am excited to play against Ignatius; it will be a great game. I cannot wait to see what the Crusaders will do in the future.
