The Brother Rice Crusaders gathered for the 2019 Homecoming Dance this past Saturday.

Students attended the semi-formal dance in a plethora of different styles ranging from suit and tie to three piece suits. Every Crusader was looking their finest.

At the dance, there was a great array of music provided by DJ Thunder as always.

I enjoyed jumping around in the mosh pit with my friends just as much us the next guy, but for some students like Billy O’Hara, this is their favorite time of the year. “That dance was the best of my four years and I expected nothing less of it,” said Billy, a senior at Brother Rice.

Students were offered some time to relax and regroup in the cafeteria as well. Each host and his date were given 4 raffle tickets which could be used to get water or a sandwich in the cafeteria. Attendants of the dance took advantage of this opportunity as the cafeteria was frequently packed in with students.

“Those refreshments are really just what I needed to get myself energized and back on the dance floor again,” said senior Martin Sheehan.

The doors of the dance were open for students to leave at 9:30 pm, but the dance fully concluded at 10 pm. For the fourth time, Brother Rice Homecoming was a huge success and I have to say I expected nothing less.
