On Sunday, Oct. 6, the National Honor Society (NHS) team at Brother Rice worked an open house throughout the school. There were many experiences to witness, with many clubs, activities, and classes on display. The potential future Crusaders had a lot to think about.
Brother Rice’s open house stands out to families for many reasons. The main reason it is so successful is because of our NHS team. John Mikrut, a member of NHS for two years now, always spreads his love for the school.
“The open house was a great showing by Brother Rice, with a variety of different clubs, sports and organizations displayed.” Mikrut said. “It was great to see many fellow Crusaders in NHS advocating for the school.”
The open house was a huge success, and all those who attended were greatly appreciated. Another member of NHS, senior Danny Sheehan, said, “The open house was amazing. It is always good to promote Brother Rice and help the school gain potential students.”
This proved a great opportunity for new and upcoming students to see the school and experience the school first hand.
Junior Mitch Rascop said, “I thought the open house was beneficial for both Brother Rice and its future. It opens the door for middle schoolers and their parents to see what one of the best private Catholic all-boys schools truly entails, inside and outside the classroom.”
Brother Rice is looking forward to seeing many faces at the testing day for eighth graders. There are many exciting opportunities to come!
