If you did not grow up playing Call of Duty, then you did not have a childhood.
There are 13 different Call of Duty games, the first Call of Duty game was released in October 2003, and the most recent game released was in 2019. In my personal opinion Call of Duty is the best game ever created. However, not all Call of Duty were created equal.
The greatest Call of Duty, in my opinion, is Call of Duty: Black Ops. For the most part, this is my favorite one because this was the first game that I got on PlayStation, and I remember coming home from grade school excited to play it every day.
Black Ops was released on November 9, 2010, by Activision. It is based in the 1960s during the Cold War era.
Senior Jake Summers said “Call of Duty: Black Ops is the game that got me into video games, and it is still one of my favorite games today.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops revolutionized the video game industry. It completely changed the way that war games were set up. Introducing first-person viewing settings, and detailed high tech graphics. If it wasn’t for Black Ops there most likely wouldn’t have ever been a Fortnite or a Modern Warfare game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is one of the most profitable video games ever released. It made the Activision a total of $1.22 billion in sales.
