This past Friday the Brother Rice TV and Brother Rice basketball seniors were honored before tip-off against Depaul Prep. The BRTV students that were honored were me, Brendan Arnold, Gavin Bowen, and Billy Reardon. The senior basketball players who were honored were Peter McShane, Jimmy Navarette, Nick Niego, Ryan Kenny, Ahmad Henderson, and Khalil Ross.

From my point of view it was a really awesome experience. To be able to be honored before the game and walk across the court was for sure a moment I will never forget.

When talking to BRTV senior Brendan Arnold, he said, “It was an unreal experience and was such an honor.”

With the senior basketball players being honored as well, it meant so much to them, also.

Senior forward Khalil Ross said, “It was a great win and a memorable night.”

Senior Night really showed how much influence the senior students have on the school. It was great to see everyone honored that night and the positive impact they had on their activity.

Senior guard Nick Niego said, “It was a lot of fun-the best 4 years of my life and a great experience.”

Overall the Crusaders Senior Night was a huge success and was great to all. The Senior Night showed how thankful we are for all the Brother Rice basketball seniors for their hard work and dedication over the past four years, and the same goes with BRTV.

To cap off such a great night, the hoops team came out and played a great game and beat a very good DePaul Prep team.

While my time with BRTV is not over, I would like to thank Mr. Creed and Mr. Zampillo for teaching me and letting me pursue something I always wanted to do.
