On April 26, a host of Crusaders traveled down to the Drake Hotel with the Mighty Macs to have a great night at the Mother McAuley prom.

The day began with pictures at the Beverly Country Club, who offered us a room due to the poor and rainy weather.

Senior Jimmy Lyons said, “Although it was nasty outside, I didn’t think we were going to allow this poor weather to ruin our great night.”

After the pictures, the Macs and their dates traveled back to Mother McAuley to load up the buses. As they arrived at the Drake Hotel, the excitement in the young men and women started to rise.

This amazing night consisted of great food, partying on the dance floor, and an awesome 360 camera that captured the smiles of hundreds of students.

Mother McAuley senior Giana Perez said, “The dance was so much fun. I hope Brother Rice’s dance is as entertaining.”

Overall, the dance was a complete success, and all these well-dressed men and women had a great time on their big night.

Reflecting on the evening’s success, senior John Lietz said, “I had a great time all night. I got to hang out with my friends and girlfriend as well as dance and get free food. It was really fun.”

Watch out Crusaders – the Rice Prom is right around the corner.
