One of my favorite memories from last summer was when I attended Lollapalooza with some of my friends. I had never been there before last year, so it was a completely new experience for me.
I had no idea what it would be like.
One thing I absolutely loved about the festival was simply getting to spend the day talking to and having fun with my friends right before we had to go back to school.
The other thing I loved was the music.
I got to see some very popular artists perform some great sets, and I had a blast. When the lockdown ends, I want to go to either Lollapalooza or some other concert.
Besides Lollapalooza, I have only been to two other concerts and I loved those concerts just as much as the festival style concerts.
I hope that the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform at the next Lollapalooza because I am a huge fan of theirs and I heard that they are spectacular in person. The last time they visited Lollapalooza was in 2016, so they are due for a return.
I would also like to possibly attend a concert at Wrigley Field. I love the atmosphere of Wrigley Field and Wrigleyville, so attending a concert there would be very interesting. I loved going to Cubs games there when I was young, so I imagine it would be the same for a concert.
Concerts are a different kind of fun than going to the movies or to the mall with friends. Whenever I go to a concert, I gain many stories to tell and I usually end up going on a small adventure of sorts.
This quarantine may not allow for me to go to a concert this summer, but I’m definitely going to one whenever it does end. Going to a concert with friends is probably the ideal way for me to get out of my house and enjoy myself after this period of staying home and being very bored.
This lockdown cannot end soon enough.
