In the midst of being stuck in a seemingly endless quarantine lockdown, nothing sounds better than a nice getaway.

For me there would definitely be no better getaway than to my summer home at Woodsmoke Ranch, the perfect place to escape the confines of my house.

I have the best of times when I visit my summer home. I normally bring a bunch of my friends and we have a blast. I can’t imagine a summer without this place, but now the Coronavirus may take it away this year.

Despite being a very small and modest place, my summer home has a seemingly endless amount of fun activities to do. I often go hiking, swimming, and go-karting there, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Some of my best memories have been made there for sure.

One of my favorite things to do when I visit the summer home is fishing. Whether it be with my dad, friends, or alone, the most relaxing thing ever is just casting my line, kicking back, and chilling until I get a bite.

I don’t think I’ve ever visited my summer home without having a nice bonfire. For me the bonfire is always the best part; everyone gathers around at the end of the day and we just talk late into the night as the fire burns.

Unfortunately, I may not have the opportunity to enjoy another bonfire this summer because of this evil quarantine, but it will end eventually, and when it does, I know for sure I’m high-tailing it to my summer home.
