On Thursday, Sept. 11, the Brother Rice Crusaders faced the state ranked Nazareth Roadrunners; even though the Crusaders lost, senior Jack Howley made the most of it. Jack Howley stepped up to the moment and scored one under par. The last time this happened was in 2023 and was not expected to happen again so fast, but Jack Howley had other plans.
Howley said, “After I did it, I was very happy, and I was excited to celebrate this with my family.”
Jack cares a lot about family. His dad got him into golf. Golf runs in the Howley family.
“I wanted to thank my dad for pushing me to be the best golfer I can be,” Howley said. “After seeing my dad play, I wanted to be better than him and I believe I’ve done that.”
The golf program is looking strong with this accomplishment and the team is looking forward to a successful season.
