My senior year has been an adventure of personal growth and finding my true self. I love myself and the life I am creating. I am on my way to achieving everything I dreamed about being as a kid but gave up on because I never thought it could happen. The most important thing I learned this year is to just keep showing up.

Just show up. Some may take this as just something for athletics but, in reality, it is about life itself. Show up for the people in your life that need you. Show up for family, friends, and especially yourself. Always remember to take care of yourself so you can be your best. Take a deep breath and stay calm. Everything will be fine.

For many, the past two years have been extremely challenging and destroyed lives. We all had to adapt to the “new normal” of a post-Covid world. All the time spent in isolation gave me a chance to really figure out who I wanted to be and to create that person. Now I can honestly say I am proud of the person that I am and the person that I am on track to becoming.
