Walking the halls of Brother Rice these last four years has been truly unforgettable; 99th Street has shaped me into a much better man than what walked through the doors in 2022. There are so many memories that I have made and would not trade those experiences for anything. My favorite part of my senior year was leading Kairos 172 in October. Being able to lead Kairos has been a goal of mine after I went on Kairos 171 in the spring. Getting to grow very close with your classmates and calling them your true brothers just shows the bond that is created on 99th and Pulaski. Also I am very glad that I was able to strengthen my relationship with God while on Kairos.
Being part of the Mt. Sion Program as a peer mentor has been life changing as I worked as a peer mentor both my junior and senior year. Being able to be a mentor has been so cool, and I am honored that I was able to be a part of it.
Managing basketball has also been such an unforgettable experience, and I will never forget the after school practices with Coach Klutch, Coach Stamas, and Coach Romeli. The state finals run my junior year was the highlight of my high school experience. That team was truly a brotherhood.
Putting on the orange blazer with BRTV was always a goal of mine growing up. I always thought it was so cool watching the games on my TV, and to be the person on the screen meant so much to me all four years.
I am truly thankful to all of the teachers, staff, and classmates for making my time on 99th street so memorable. I cannot thank God enough for giving me all that I have and I will always live Jesus in my heart forever.
