The time has finally come…the seniors’ last final exams.

I have studied hard for finals since freshman year. However, for some reason, studying for finals is starting to feel optional this semester. I mean…c’mon! It’s our last semester; why do seniors have to take finals?

Senior Nick Morrin said, “I’ve asked some of my teachers if we could just not take a final. Unfortunately, they all declined.”

It took a lot of effort to achieve straight A’s first semester but to keep that up for the second semester? That’s a lot to ask for. We all have senioritis! I have senioritis!

Senior Diego Bahena said, “I checked out of school a few weeks ago. It’s going to be a mission to motivate myself to study for finals one last time.”

Some classes I have to study for are theology, calculus, and psychology. All of my favorite classes…

Calculus has been the most challenging class this school year. To say I am nervous for this exam would be an understatement. I genuinely can’t learn any more math; it hurts my brain.

Senior Andy Flores said, “Yeah, I have no idea what’s going on in calculus. Let’s hope that final is easy.”

Senioritis is no joke. Everyone that I have talked to has no motivation left to do any more school work, and I don’t blame them. I know it is a lot to ask for, but let’s finish strong!
