On Thursday Nov. 6, Brother Rice held its annual Junior Ring Ceremony for the Class of 2027. As a symbol of their growing leadership skills, the juniors were given class rings and medallions. The ring symbolizes the juniors’ role as the next leaders in the school and serves as a reminder of all the good times they had at Brother Rice High School.
Junior Myles Broome said, “The ceremony was amazing. We were all thrilled to see our rings and hear from the amazing guest speakers.” Students were able to customize their rings with their own designs, making each ring unique. They can include the activities they are involved in, sports, and even their favorite number.
“I loved the ceremony. I love being a part of this brotherhood and making memories in the school, on the baseball field, and even outside of school with the guys,” said junior Brady Cunningham.
One of the special guest speakers was the Junior of the Year for the Class of 2026, Nolan Leonard. “It was a pleasure to speak to the next group of Crusader leaders. I hope they took my words to heart and make the choice to lead by example,” said Leonard.
The Junior Ring Ceremony was a success yet again, honoring these fellow Crusaders as they leave their mark in the legacy at Brother Rice.
