Senior year.
The quickest year of my life so far!
From freshman year to senior year, you always hear people talking about how fast your high school career will be.
When I tell you that my senior year flew by, believe me, it honestly went by in the blink of an eye.
To all the juniors who will be seniors next year, I have a couple pieces of advice.
Senior year to me was probably one of my hardest years at rice even though people say it should be the easiest. Take all your classes seriously because your grades do get sent out to the college you are planning to attend the next fall.
Senioritis is a real thing. Do not be the kid who gets it halfway through the year and just give up on his grades.
I know by the end you are going to get very frustrated with your teachers and the rest of the faculty, but you need to power through it because all that they want to see is you to succeed.
Brother Rice was a very special place, and if I were to go back and do high school all over again, I would choose Rice 1000 times.
Even though I have had some good and bad memories at Brother Rice, it will always stick with me, and I am very proud to say that I am a Brother Rice Crusader for life.
