Last Sunday, Oct. 5, Brother Rice held its first open house of the year. Prospective Brother Rice students showed up to observe the school and get a taste of what Brother Rice has to offer.
The students attended the event with their parents and were guided by our very own NHS members. They toured through the school and got to see all the different clubs and academics we have to offer at our school.
Senior Tom Murphy said, “Being able to show new kids around our school felt great and inspiring.”
Visitors walked through the school talking to teachers and club members to get a better understanding of what it is to be a Crusader. NHS Vice-President and senior Mitch Rascop said,” Our clubs and academics show why we are such a great school.”
During this time, I also walked around taking pictures to capture the event. It was so amazing to see my school in all its greatness and seeing the younger kids enjoy what we have to offer.
NHS President and senior Roman Manjarrez said, “We were glad about the turnout and how the event went .”
Our next open house will be held on Monday, Nov. 3; and we hope to see more aspiring Crusaders there.
