Obviously, applying for colleges is such a stressful and difficult process. There’s no doubt about it. Seniors have to research schools they could possibly see themselves attending, complete long essays and questionnaires, all while keeping their social life and grades up.

Believe me, I was in the trenches at the beginning of the school year.

However, I think the part that doesn’t get much attention during this whole process is when admission decisions start to come out and students finally have to decide what school they are going to attend.

So many different factors come into play: one’s top choice, the location, the financial aspect, and the specific programs. These factors definitely came into play when I had to decide on my college.

Which one do I choose? Which one should I choose?

For me, it was such a stressful process because there were pros and cons to every choice. I was nervous that I was going to make the wrong decision, but in the end, you really have to be confident in your decision.

Although it can be a stressful process, it is important to note that this decision is going to start the next chapter in your life, so enjoy it!
