The Chicago White Sox kicked the season off with a very bad start. They have the worst record in franchise history and almost major league history. The Sox are disappointing fans and everyone involved with them.

Senior Matt Vucko said, “I have been a lifelong fan of the White Sox, and they are disappointing me with their performance. I wish they would get their act together, so that my friends and I can go to games and enjoy ourselves.”

The White Sox are having a hard time getting hits. In baseball, you can have incredible defense but without any offense, the game will still be lost. The Sox are struggling with their offense, however they have a solid defense.

Senior T.J. McNichols said, “Hitting is crucial in winning games, and I believe that if the White Sox start getting more hits, then they will win more games.”

The Chicago White Sox have been rebuilding their team for a few years. This is disappointing for fans due to the long time. This also causes worry among fans because of the duration of the rebuild. A rebuild usually takes a few years, but the patience of fans is running thin.

Senior Josh Harris said, “I have been looking forward to the results of the rebuild, but it has been a while. Now I am starting to doubt the Sox and their ability to create a successful rebuild.”

The White Sox still have a future ahead of them. Fans are hoping this is rock bottom because then they have nowhere to go but up. The rebuild will be done soon and then the result will be a winning team.

The Sox attendance rate is at an all-time low. They are struggling to bring their attendance up, and the only way to do that is to start winning games.

The White Sox will have better years, and this is just a dry streak. By next year, the Sox will improve and win more games. There is still hope for Chicago White Sox fans.
