What are the Crusaders’ next steps after high school?
Brother Rice seniors are off to college, the trades, or joining the workforce. Seniors wore their college shirts as a way to celebrate decision day, which is a common deadline for accepting your admission offer from a college.
Senior Troy Beaver said, “It is the start of a new chapter in life. Students are starting to get a true feeling for the first time what it is they truly love to do and how they want to live their lives.”
Seniors have already surpassed many other graduation class scholarship totals with an astounding $ 27 million and climbing. The class of 2023 are traveling all over the country for college. Seniors are going to schools in Tennessee, Nebraska, South Carolina, and New York.
School counselor Mr. Creed said, “Decision Day was a complete success. We’re looking to make the day as fun as possible for our seniors and implemented a photo booth at lunch this year. We’re already planning to beef up Decision Day next year. The Class of 2023 has shattered the all-time scholarship record at Brother Rice and currently sits at $27.8 million in earned scholarship money. Our students will be attending schools from coast to coast – California to New York. We are so proud of the Class of 2023!”
Best of luck to the Class of 2023 in their next steps in life, but always remember that you have a home at 99th and Pulaski.
